Our competitive cheer program runs from April to November and is designed to provide a full-season commitment for optimal development.

• Spring (April - June): Cheerleaders focus on foundational skills, including stunt training and chants, allowing coaches to develop every participant and build team dynamics.
• Fall (August - November): The focus shifts to game day performances and competition choreography, preparing cheerleaders to shine in every setting.

This approach ensures a balance of skill-building, team bonding, and performance excellence throughout the season!

Our goal is to offer 3 competitive cheer divisions: Peewee (2014-2016), Jr Bantam (2012-2013) and Senior (2007-2011), however registration numbers will dictate the actual divisions.

Performances:

In the spring, the team will perform for some of our flag football games at Woodcote Park on Saturdays after Victoria Day until mid-June. The season will wrap up for a month after the Canada Day Parade. 

In the fall, the team will perform each weekend during one tackle football game, primarily at Bill Moore Park with one travel date (typically Nanaimo). You will receive a schedule in early Sept as soon as the league has provided us with dates/times and we can organize. The season will wrap up by attending the VMFL cheer competition on the lower mainland. 

Uniform: Club cheer shirt, skirt will be provided (deposit form must be completed). Club sweater/pom poms/bow are required for purchase separately.

Required: black pants/leggings, running shoes, water bottle, no jewelry (stud earrings ok), hair tied away from face
